We are a Supply Nation Certified business based in the Pilbara. My name is Richard Walker and I am the Managing Director and the majority Traditional Owner of MINBARINGU Services. I am a prominent member of the Ngarluma and Ngamal communities through both my Father and Mother.
All our MINBARINGU team have a strong sense of community and commitment to Indigenous advancement through employment and training opportunities of Indigenous tradespeople and apprentices. We promote our core business values and objectives and provide a supportive cultural environment.

Richard Walker
Managing Director – Business Development & Community Engagement
Richard is a prominent member of the Njamal and Ngarluma Pilbara communities. He commenced his career in the mining industry as a plant operator in 1997 with Rio Tinto. After successful completion of a number of in-house training courses Richard became involved with supervision and training of Aboriginal trainees and employees.
Since 2015 Richard has represented the Ngarluma Corporation in the position of Heritage Manager and has supported the activities of the corporation including heritage surveys and native title activities. Richard has held various positions with Rio Tinto, FMG and the WA Government in the Department of Child Protection. He was responsible for mentoring, training and preparing work ready programmes to support young Australian Indigenous workers for future success and career paths. Family community support activities have also been a high focus for Richard over the past 10 years.
David Crooks
Managing Director – Operations
David has 30 years of experience in Mechanical and Electrical contracting throughout Western Australia and more recently in Queensland and Victoria. David has been successful in training Australian Indigenous Apprentices in both electrical and HVAC mechanical trades.
David has successfully spearheaded the development and growth of the MPS Regional business over the past 5 years. David and his North West team have built strong relationships with key mining and resources clients throughout Western Australia. He has delivered many successful installation and maintenance contracts to completion including HVAC mechanical, Electrical services and PV Solar Power systems.
Kim Callcott
Area Service Manager - Pilbara Operations
Kim has been in the HVAC industry for the past 35 years and has a wealth of experience working in the Pilbara region. He supports our clients with operations and general management activities. Kim also assists with training, compliance, and quality assurance across the different disciplines within our operation. Kim holds dual trade qualifications and has diverse technical skills which allows him to support our service teams with mechanical, electrical, pv solar and building management system services.
